எங்கேயும்... எப்போதும்.. சங்கீதம்... சந்தோஷம்-கோடி நன்றி சொல்வோம் எம்.எஸ்.விக்கு

எம்.எஸ்.வி.யின் பாடல்கள் என்றாலே அதில் ஒரு துள்ளலும், துடிப்பும் நிச்சயம் கலந்திருக்கும். நினைத்தாலே இனிக்கும் படத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற எங்கேயும், எப்போதும் பாடல் நிச்சயம் கேட்பவர்களை ஆட்டம் போட வைக்கும்.

மனதை மயக்கும் இனிமையான பாடல்களைத் தந்ததாலேயே அவருக்கு மெல்லிசை மன்னன் என்ற பட்டம் கிடைத்தது. கவிஞர்களின் பாடல் வரிகளுக்கு தனது இசையால் உயிர் கொடுத்தவர் எம்.எஸ்.வி

 எத்தனை எத்தனை பாடல்கள்.. எத்தனை உயிரோட்டமான பாடல்கள்.. எண்ணி முடியாது எம்.எஸ்.வியின் பெருமைகளை எடுத்து வைத்தால். ஜாம்பவான்கள் முதல் சாதாரணர்கள் வரை இவருக்குத்தான் எத்தனை எத்தனை ரசிகர்கள். கண்ணதாசனும், இந்த மெல்லிசை மன்னரும் சேர்ந்து விட்டால், அங்கு தமிழ் வெள்ளம் பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடும், இசை மழை பொழியும்..

குறிஞ்சி மலர் 12 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை பூக்கும்.. ஆனால் இந்த மெல்லிசை மலர் நமது வாழ்க்கையில் ஒருமுறைதான் பூக்கும்.. ஆனால் பல தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் இதன் வாசம் தொடரும்..

மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் இசைமூச்சு நின்றுவிட்டது என்று சொல்வதா? இந்த நூற்றாண்டில் அதிகமாக வாசிக்கப்பட்ட ஆர்மோனியம் அடங்கிவிட்டது என்று சொல்வதா? ஒரு பாட்டுச் சக்ரவர்த்தி மறைந்துவிட்டார் என்று சொல்வதா? எங்கள் பால்ய வயதின் மீது பால்மழை பொழிந்த மேகம் கடந்துவிட்டது என்று சொல்வதா? தமிழ்த் திரையிசைக்குப் பொற்காலம் தந்தவரே! போய்விட்டீரா என்று புலம்புகிறேன்

அரை நூற்றாண்டு காலமாய்த் தமிழர்களைத் தாலாட்டித் தூங்கவைத்த கலைஞன் இன்று இறுதியாக உறங்கிவிட்டார். அவரது இசை இன்பத்துக்கு விருந்தானது; துன்பத்துக்கு மருந்தானது. அவரது இசை தமிழின் ஒரு வார்த்தையைக்கூட உரசியதில்லை. எம்.ஜி.ஆர் - சிவாஜி என்ற இருபெரும் பிம்பங்களைக் கட்டியெழுப்பிய இசைச் சிற்பி. திராவிட இயக்க அரசியலைக் கட்டியெழுப்புவதற்கும் அவரது பாட்டு பயன்பட்டிருக்கிறது. தமிழர்களின் வாழ்வின் எல்லாச் சம்பவத்திலும் அவர் பாடல் புழங்காத இடமில்லை. தாலாட்டு முதல் ஒப்பாரி வரை எங்கள் வாழ்வோடு நடந்து வரும் பாடல்கள் மெல்லிசை மன்னர் படைத்தவை. ஒரு நகைக் கலைஞன் ஆபரணம் செய்வதற்காக சுத்தத் தங்கத்தில் கொஞ்சம் செம்பு கலப்பது மாதிரி கர்நாடக இசையில் மேற்கத்திய இசையைப் பொருத்தமாய்க் கலந்து புதுமை செய்தவர். அவர் தொடாத ராகமில்லை; தொட்டுத் தொடங்காத பாடலில்லை

ஒரு சகாப்தத்திற்கு எப்படி விடை கொடுப்பது? நெஞ்சு விம்முகிறது. காற்றுள்ள வரையில் அவர் கானங்கள் வாழும். "வீடுவரை உறவு வீதிவரை மனைவி காடுவரை பிள்ளை கடைசிவரை எம்.எஸ்.வி"

திரு எம்எஸ்வி பிரிக்க முடியாத வகையில் தமிழ் திரையுலக வரலாற்றோடு ஒன்றிவிட்டவர். தமிழ் மற்றும் தென்னிந்திய கலாசாரச் சித்தரிப்பின் அங்கம் அவர். எம்எஸ்வி பலரின் வாழ்வின் பின்னணி இசையாகி விட்டவர். அவரது இசை தங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் ஒலிக்க, கடந்த காலத்துக்குரிய ஏக்கத்துடன் அவர்கள் தம் வாழ்வையே நினைவு கூர்கின்றனர். அவரது தலைமுறையையும் காலத்தையும் கடந்த ரசிகர்கள் அவருக்குண்டு. இதற்கு என் மகள் ஸ்ருதி நல்ல ஒரு உதாரணம். அமெரிக்காவில் இசை பயின்று கொண்டிருந்த அவர், திரும்பிவந்தவுடன் திரு எம்எஸ்வியைச் சந்திக்க விரும்பினார். அவர் எம்.எஸ். வி.யின் ரசிகையாகியிருந்தார். எம். எஸ். வி அவர்களின் தோள்களில் புகழ் இலகுவாய் அமர்ந்திருந்தது. தன் புகழையும் பெருமையையும் அலட்சியப்படுத்தி பிறரது வயதையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் அவர்களை அவர் அடிக்கடி புகழ்வதுண்டு. அவரது உடலை மட்டுமே நாம் இழந்திருக்கிறோம். அவரது இசை எப்போதும் நம்மோடிருக்கும். தன் இசையால் என் வாழ்வுக்குச் செறிவூட்டிய அவருக்கு என்றும் என் நன்றிகள் உண்டு. அன்பன் கமல் ஹாஸன்

அவரது பாடல்கள் இன்றும் நேயர்கள் மனதில் மறையாமல் இருப்பதற்கு அவர் இசை கருவிகளுக்கு அதிகம் முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்காமல் வார்த்தைகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து இசை அமைத்தது. அவர் மறைந்தாலும் அவரது பாடல்கள் என்றுமே மறையாது என்றும் காலத்தால் அழியாது நிலைத்து நிற்கும். அவரது ஆத்மா சாந்தி அடைய இறைவனை வேண்டுகிறேன்.

எனது ஆசான்... எம்.எஸ்.விஸ்வநாதன் எனது ஆசான், எனது தந்தை, எனது இசை. எம்.எஸ்.விஸ்வநாதன் மறைந்துவிட்டார்.

அவருக்கு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் இறுதி அஞ்சலியில் கூட கலந்து கொள்ள முடியாத நிலை எனக்கு வர வேண்டுமா? அந்த அளவுக்கு சிறிய நல்லதைக் கூட நான் எனது வாழ்நாளில் செய்யத் தவறிவிட்டேனா என்ன. இந்த நேரத்தில் தானா அமெரிக்காவில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

நானும், இந்திய சினிமாவும் அனாதையாக நிற்கிறோம். அவரது ஆன்மா சாந்தியடையட்டும். கண்ணதாசனும் வாலியும் எழுதி வைத்த பாடல்வரிகளுக்கு மேலிருந்து அவர் இசையமைக்க இருக்கும் தெய்வீக இசையை கேட்க முடியுமா?

ஆயர்பாடி மாளிகையில் தாய்மடியில் கன்றினைப் போல் மாயக்கண்ணன் தூங்குகின்றான் தாலேலோ' வானில் முழு நிலவாக இருக்கிறார் அவர்" என இவ்வாறு அதில் அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

எம் எஸ் விஸ்வநாதன் உருகி உருகி இசையமைத்த "மத்யமாவதி'யில் "முத்துக்களோ கண்கள், தித்திப்பதோ கன்னம்' "ஆபேரி'யில் "மலர்ந்தும் மலராத பாதி மலர் போல', "தங்கரதம் வந்தது வீதியிலே' பிருந்தாவன சாரங்கியில் பொன்னொன்று கண்டேன், பெண்ணங்கு இல்லை' என்ற மகத்தான வெற்றிபெற்ற பாடல்களை தமிழக மக்களால் என்றென்றும் நினைவில் இருக்கும்.

இசையின் சக்கரவர்த்தி மெல்லிசை மன்னர் எம்எஸ்வி அவர்கள் நம்பிடையே இல்லை.அவர் விட்டு சென்ற அவரின் இசை இந்த பிரபஞ்சம் முழுவதும் இசைக்கும்.பாசமலர் திரையில் இடம் பெற்ற அணைத்து பாடல்களும் வெற்றி பெற்ற பாடல்கள்தான்,அதில் மலர்ந்தும் malaraatha பாதி மலர்போல என்ற பாடலின் இசை என்னை மிகவும் கவர்ந்த பாடலாகும்.அண்ணன் தங்கை பாசத்தை விளக்கும் அருமையான கவியரசர் கண்ணதாசன் அவர்களின் வரிகளுக்கு மெல்லிசை மன்னர் தந்தான் இசை மிகவும் அருமை.மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் புகழ் என்றும் அழியாது,பல யுகங்களை கடந்து வாழும்.எங்கோ ஒரு முலையின் அவரின் பாடல் ஒலிக்கும் பொது அவரின் நினைவு நமது மனக்கண்ணில் வந்து செல்லும்.

உணர்வுகளை தொடக்கூடிய இசையை படைத்தவர். அதோ அந்த பறவை போல என்ற உற்சாகத்தையும் ஆடலுடன பாடலும் சுகம்தான், எங்கேயும் எப்போதும் நல்ல சங்கீதம் சந்தோஷம் தரும் என்பதையும், படைத்தானே, போனால் போகட்டும், எங்கே நிம்மதி என்று விரக்தியையும், தமிழுக்கும் அமுதென்றும், எங்கள் வாழ்வும் மங்காத தமிழுக்கு போற்றுதலும், மலர்ந்தும் மலராத மலரையும், அத்தைமடி மெத்தையடி என்று தாலாட்டையும், காலங்களில் அவளை வசந்தமாகவும், அத்தான் என்னத்தான் என்றும், அன்புள்ள மான்விழியே என்று காதலையும், புல்லாங்குழல் கொடுத்த மூங்கிலிலும், ஆயர்பாடி மாளிகையிலும், உள்ளத்தில் நல்ல உள்ளம் உறங்காது என்று பக்தியையும் தத்துவத்தையும்... ம்ம் இன்னும் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே போகலாம். அற்புதமான பாடல் வரிகளின் உணர்வுகளையும் உணர்ச்சிகளையும் சிறிதும் கலைத்துவிடாமல் அந்த பாடல் வரிகளை தன்னுடைய இனிய இசையால் இறவாப்புகழ்பெற வைத்த அற்புத மனிதன். தமிழிசைப் பிரியர்களையும், பாமரர்களையும், குழந்தைகள் முதல் பெரியோர் வரை தன்னுடைய இசைகேட்டு (புவி) அசைந்தாட செய்தவர். அவருடைய இசையை போற்றி பாதுகாப்பது நாம் அவருக்கு செலுத்தும் அஞ்சலியாகும். கனத்த மனத்துடன், நான் நன்றி சொல்வேன் அந்த மன்னனுக்கு.

மனிதகுலம் தோன்றிய இந்த பல்லாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளில் அவர் பிறந்து வாழ்ந்து, இசைப் பொக்கிசங்களை வழங்கிய இந்த கால கட்டத்தில் நானும் பிறந்து அவரின் பாடல்களை கேட்டு மகிழும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை கொடுத்த அந்த ஆண்டவனை நன்றியோடு வணங்குகிறேன். ஏழு பிறப்பு என்பது உண்மை என்றால் அந்த ஏழு பிறப்பிலும் அவர் பிறந்து இசை வழங்க தொடங்கும்போது நானும் பிறந்து அவரது இசையை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் கேட்கும் அந்த பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை இறைவன் வழங்க பிரார்த்திப்பேன்.

எனது வாழ்க்கையின் பல நிகழ்வுகளை, அவரும் கவிஞரும் இணைந்து கொடுத்த பல பாடல்கள் நினைவு படுத்திக் கொண்டே இருக்கும். அவரது இசையின் ரசிகர்கள் வேறு இசையை பேருக்குத்தான் ரசிப்பார்கள். பின்னணி இசையிலும் இன்று இருப்பது போல அல்லாமல் கதையின் பாத்திரங்களின் எண்ணங்கள், செயல்கள் இவற்றுக்கு உயிர் கொடுக்கும் விதத்தில் இருக்கும் அவரது திறன் வியப்புக்கு உரியது.

ஒப்பிடமுடியாத ஒரு இசை. காலத்தால் மறக்க மறைக்க முடியாத இசை. மகிழ்ச்சி , துக்கம், தத்துவம் அனைத்திற்கும் பொருத்தமான இசை. உங்கள் இசையை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் கேட்டு நாங்கள் எங்களை ஊக்கபடுத்தி கொள்கிறோம். நீங்கள் இந்த உலகிற்கு தந்த இசைக்கு பதிலாக தர எங்களிடம் எதுவுமே இல்லை. உங்களை தாழ்மையுடன் இந்த தருணத்தில் வணங்கி எங்கள் மரியாதையை சமர்பிக்கிறோம். உங்கள் புகழ் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் , சிவாஜி,கண்ணதாசன் போல இந்த உலகில் நிலைத்து நிற்கும்....

True Story of a Proud Father

  25^th May 2015 day was a memorable day in my life.

Yes, my daughter scored 475/500 in her, recently conducted, CBSE +2 Examination.  She also stood school first, in Commerce stream, adding pride to Sir Sivasamy kalalaya, Mylapore. She scored 98 Marks in Economics attracting the attention of CBSE Board, per se.

Accolades pouring to her from all quarters and my parents are ecstatic. Mylapore times, a local weekly newspaper calling me for a telephonic interview. 

Sitting back and rewind my life as a proud father, to count the laureates in my family, my mother was an excellent student in Semmangudi High school, Sembangudi, a small place near Tiruvarur, Tamil Nadu.  She was school first in 10^th and won first price on many competitions.  In fact, in postal Department, where she worked, she got “dAk sEvA” award, an award given by Union Govt for the best staff in Postal dept.

After that my maternal uncle was also first in all the classes and pursued Mechanical Engineering and presently working as Vice president.

My father was  another star in his college and excelled in M.A.B.Ed but he was also  the best teacher in his college life retiring as vice principal.   His post 50’s tilted him to a more spiritual person, leading a team of 70 Iyappa samis every year to sabarimalai and half the Trichy knows him for his kind words and grace.

Me, being a Commerce graduate pursued Chartered Accountancy with great difficulty.  Also cleared Cost accountancy, I vowed not to ask even my enemy to join Chartered Accountancy.

Destiny has its own smile as my daughter has stood first in Accountancy stream and she wants to pursue Chartered Accountancy.

Let varagoor Perumal give her enough strength to pursue professional course and come out with flying colors.

I attribute her success because of the following:

Varagur perumal’s blessings.  She rendered Tarangams for an hour during last Tarangini Utsavam.  Renders at home whenever she is free. As she is learning music, it is easy for her to make it daily.

 My parents blessings.  I imbibed the “Bhakthi”, if I have any,  from my mother and my father.  Their dedication to varagur perumal and efforts to, always, try to do good work which adds value  to the next generation.  I could tell so many examples like Radha Kalyanam (30 years continuously done every year), Suamangali Prarthanai etc and saptAgam etc.,

My mother pained herself so much by fasting or physically helping others for the welfare of her kids.  Rarely do you see mothers who want to do so many “spiritual activities” at home notwithstanding her age and lack of support from others.  She is truly a odd woman out.

My wife, Smt Meenakshi.  Her love to Varshini is unusual.  Being housewife, not even single day, her daughter is allowed to take outside food. As parents love for outing and food at hotels, it is not so in our house.  Weekly oil bath and nutritious food, fruit juices are part of the food culture, she developed.  She firmly believed good food culture develops good human being.

 My daughter is very soft spoken and loved by all teachers.  Her music is another factor which develops her in to a well mannered girl.

  I did not get her any “Apps” till today, except a simple mobile to communicate her. I have to thank my daughter for not insisting on this. This is the virus which kills today’s youngsters.  Thank God my daughter did not fall victim to this.

 Kanchi seer’s visit to Chennai and my daughter had been there many times to have darshan.  What else a human being wants more than sadhguru’s krupa ?

My son (Vignesh) also a kalalayan who did his 10^th in CBSE and +2 in Sivaswamy state Board.  He also emerged as the best student, if not first and cleared his B.tech and presently working in Fresh desk.

I have to thank the school Principal, Vice-Principal and all teachers for making my daughter as she is today.

I cannot repay this debt.  I can only pray to my varagUr perumal to give all the teachers a longer life and make them happier as ever.

A big “Thank you” to all  teachers for making me proud. 

Bangaluru "nalli" Varaguru - Tarangani Utsavam in Bangaluru

24th May 2015 was another milestone day for Tarangini Mahotsavam. (TMU).

Yes, TMU was successfully conducted at Malleshwaram, Bangaluru. Another way to put this programme- Yes, “Tarangini waves started slowly from varagoor and reached Bangaluru drenching the bhakthAs in bhakthi mazhai”

A seed sown by Professor Kunjithapatham (Professor mama), Sri. Sethuraman (Reliance) and ably supported by lieutenants Shankar, Suri, Vijayakumar and Anand. This seed started growing in to a tree and the branches touching Bangalore so that the bhaktAs could get “hold” of the branch to attain “Sharanagathi” of Lord Perumal through Tarangams, poetic beauty of Sri. Narayana Teertha.

Five years back, when the project of TU was discussed, we were not sure whether that would be continued in varagoor itself. As Lord Krishna helped the hapless Kusela, as Krishna helped Vidhura by visiting his house leaving all the palaces of Gouravas, Bhishma, Karna etc., our perumal just like that lifted the flavour of Tarangam to spread from Varagur to Nanganallur to Bangaluru.

In between Profession mama explained the meaning of the particular Tarangam and how Narayana Teertha's“thinking process” in portraying the character.

Interestingly, Rukmini KalyAnam was performed by Sri.Kovai Jayarama Bhagavathar. It is another memorable event as normally, people visit varagoor to perform “Kalyanam”, but here, Perumal came all the way to Bangaluru to get married to Rukmini. When I thought of the important people present, this goes like this.

Smt.Suvasini- Anchor person for Bangaluru TU. In Lalitha Sahasranam, there is a sloka, which says Goddess Lalitha likes/loves Suvasini. “suvAsinyarchanaprIta, shobhana shuddha mAnasA”. As, Narayana Tirtha in his kriti “Jaya Jaya durgE” says, “Narayana sOdhari paramA nandE”. Her dedication and interest was unparallel and commendable.

Shri.Manikandan, my younger brother. (Second son of Sri.Kunjithapatham mama) Actually, he is like dharma Sastha. Interestingly, he was born and named after my father started going to SabarimalA. So, he was like “PermabanAr” anchoring the show from one end.

Shankar – Co-coordinating the function from Chennai. AnAdha rakshagan of Tarangini Mahotsavam. It is widely felt with Shankar having him around, TMU can be arranged even in Andaman and Nicobar island.

Sri.Murali Sastrigal- Vedham is an integral part of any Hindu marriage. Here, mama was here to render vedha, In sanskrit we call him as “mahAn kEErtyA”- Pride of Varagoor.

Alasu Ravi Bhagavathar – Sampradaya bhajan expert and Tarangam expert too and Perumals’ most beloved Bhagavathas. He is from a family who has dedicated their life for the service of perumal.

Kunithapatham Mama- To give a speech of Teertha (Upanyasam). His speech in English about Narayana Teertha mesmerized everyone. He dedicated his life for Tarangam singing.

Vijayakumar- Another Pride of Varagoor. Stationed in Trichy, he is present at varagoor for any function. Whether Swami purappadu, bhajan or any other function, he is there.

For Geetham – Sri.Vidyabhooshanaji. He has been performing only Dasar Padagalu. For us, he accepted to sing Tarangams, in his 2 hours, he has beautifully blended the rare ragas with Tarangams.

His has mesmerised everyone.through his sheer quality singing.

When all the above were present, no wonder Rukmini kalyanam was conducted with ease to the delight of every one.!!!

Overall, it was a great success and another feather in the Tarangini Committee’s cap.

MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH SEER OF KANCHI

Iam one person who believes in Guru. I don’t differentiate between Gurus. Whether it is Ramana maharishi, Sadguru Jnanandar, living God, KalyAni mami, brother of Swami Haridas Giri or Sringeri Jagadhguru or Kanchi Jagadhguru etc.,

My daily visit to Sringeri mutt at Madaiveli had me blessed to visit Sringeri to have the dharshan of Sri.Bharati theertha swamiji. I have a written a separate blog on this.

Kanchi paramAcharya is in our nerve system. My mother was offered a small piece of banana, when she was a kid, at Semmangudi, Tanjore Dist, by mahAperiavA, during His visit to Semmangudi. This might have sown the seed for our Guru bhakthi and we are fortunate, in one way or other, to have associated with Maha periava (MP) and other seers of kanchi. I need to mention here that my brother Sri.K.Manikandan is also so devoted to Maha periava and he named his house in Bangalore- “MahA periavA Gruham”. My another brother’s Father In Law Sri. Sivarama Krishna Sastrigal, who was closely associated to MP and he was even staying in PeriavA’s house (matam) at Tiruvanaikkoil, abode of Akilandeswari “sameda” jambugeshwarar.

Coming back to present days, Sri. Jayendra sarawathi, present seer of Kanchi and Sri. Shankara Vijayendra saraswathi, known as chinna periava (SSVS) have been camping behind Kamakshi temple, near RA Puram, Chennai. They are here for performing vasantha navarathri and extending Their stay for some more days. In our opinion, They will be staying till 14th April 2015. We are so fortunate that the living Gods come to bless us to our place instead of other way.

As I was yearning for an opportunity, I was so fortunate and I along with my wife and kids perform regular darshans/chanting/bhakthi geet etc., We are so lucky and blessed to have a situation like this and even today, we plan to go for SSVS’s evening pooja.

My daughter is studying 12th Standard in Sivasamy kalalaya in Accountancy group and she aspires to become a professional. Obviously I thought of taking her to CPT, enroute to Chartered Accountancy. As I keep an eye on her to become a graduate first and then to CA, CPT was a no-nonsense area and after all, it gives more insight into Accountancy .

Next come to Coaching class for CPT. As Iam in Madaiveli, Chennai, I have more than half a dozen coaching classes each of which is offering CPT classes with different fees structure and different class timings, venues etc., besides Institute is conducting coaching classes. So, as usual, I consulted many friends and articled clerks of CA to select a better coaching class but my confusion reigned.

As my daughter was restless and my wife was worried about the 6AM – 1PM timing, I had almost decided not to send her to tuitions as her CBSE background + Study materials are just enough to cope up with the course.

As my daughter leans music from Smt.Padma Narayanaswamy, wife of the great musicians (late) Sri.K.V.Narayanaswamy, she had gone to the Pooja and enjoyed the darshan. She also sang some kritis (songs) in front of SJS Swamji in the evenings. It was our good fortune that Swamji made some corrections in her song. It was also my fortune to have a wife devoted to Swamiji so she took our daughter for darshan regularly.

Day before yesterday was the Rama navami concluding day and myself along with my daughter went to witness the 8 PM pooja. Swamiji performed Rama pattAbhishekam in the afternoon session, it was so vibrant and as the situation warranted, I asked my daughter to sing a song on Rama – Pattabhishekam. The song started with “pavanaja”. It was in Raga Kurinji and one of the beautiful compositions’ of Saint Thyagaraja. By the time, the Pooja completed and we were expecting Him to come out to give darshan. So, I asked my daughter to sing, “Sadguru swamiki” in raag Ritigowla.

When she was about to finish, Swamiji came out and started talking and giving prasadams to many bhakthas. Swetharanyam Sisters, musicians, were also present and they were also blessed by Swamiji. His amazing remembrance power enabled to interact with some of the bhakthas in personal level.

My daughter was also blessed and offered Kumkum prasadams. She was so happy and we returned.

The next day the miracle had happened. I was in my office and again started to think about her CPT coaching classes. As I interacted with my daughter and few of my friends, I spotted Sankara Coaching Centre. I called the centre and had a long discussion and finally I found out the following:

• Sankara Coaching Centre is offering classes in Mylapore

• Timing is very convenient 9 AM to 3.30 PM. Ironically, 9AM classes were conducted in T.Nagar and recently, they decided to have it in Mylapore

• Daughter had already got scholarship in this Coaching centre and so, fees has been reduced. (Though I knew this, I did not pay much attention to this earlier)

• The last date of the fees was today. From tomorrow, the fees will be increased.

• Today being Ekadashi day, another auspicious day in line with my thinking.

• As my daughter wanted to join some coaching centre contrary to my thinking, she got this Coaching classes which made both of us happy.

Sadhguru’s katAksham on my daughter made wonders. How ?

• See the Coaching class name – “Sankara”

• See the timing- 9AM to 3.30 PM. She can practice her music in the morning and have a good food and go to class. Evening her music practice with the teacher is at 5.30 PM. She need not be absent for that.

• Scholarship was used judiciously

• Fees not only reduced because of scholarship but also “not increased” as before 1st April, we were able to pay the fees.

By offering 2 songs on Sadhguru, my daughter’s confusion got cleared and I had a sigh of relief and also saw my wife smile.

This strengthened my belief on Sadhguru. I was awestruck to see His blessings and how all my confusions in my daughter’s future got cleared less than 24 hours after my daughter had the prasadams from Him.

காயத்திரி மந்திரம் என்பது சூரிய வழிபாட்டைத்தான் குறிக்கும்.

அந்தப் பரம ஜோதி சொரூபமான சத்தியத்தை நாம் தியானிக்கிறோம். பூ உலகம், மத்திய உலகம், மேல் உலகம் மூன்றுக்கும் சக்தி அது. அந்தப் பரம சக்தி நமது புத்தியை வெளிச்சப்படுத்தட்டும் என்பது இதன் பொருள்.



24 அட்சரங்களைக் கொண்டது காயத்ரி மந்திரம். இதைத் தினசரி ஜபித்து வந்தால் பூர்வ ஜென்ம பாவங்கள் அகலும். சக்திகள் பெருகும். வைராக்கியம் உண்டாகும். காயத்ரி என்பதற்குத் தன்னை ஜபிப்பவனைக் காப்பாற்றுவது என்று பொருள். இதை ஜபித்து வர எல்லாவித ஆபத்துக்களும் நீங்கும். மற்ற எல்லா மந்திரங்களுக்கும் தாய் போன்றவள் காயத்ரி. காயத்ரி சந்தசமம் மாத எனப்படும்.



இந்த ஜென்மத்தில் தெரிந்தோ தெரியாமலோ செய்த பாவம் அகலும். அதற்காக வேண்டும் என்றே தெரிந்தே பாவங்களைச் செய்து விட்டு காயத்ரி மந்திரம் ஜபித்தால் பலன் கிடைக்காது.



காயத்ரி என்ற மந்திரத்திற்குச் சாவித்ரி என்றும் சரஸ்வதி என்றும் பெயர்கள் உண்டு. இந்த மந்திரம் காலையில் காயத்ரிக்காகவும், நடுப்பகலில் சாவித்ரிக்காகவும், மாலை சந்தியா வந்தனத்தில் சரஸ்வதிக்காகவும் ஜபிக்கப்படுகிறது.



காயத்ரி மந்திரம் ஜபிக்கப்பட்ட பின்னரே மற்ற மந்திரங்கள் ஜபிக்கப்படுகின்றன. மந்திர வழிபாட்டில் காயத்ரிக்குத் தான் முதல் இடம். காயத்ரி ஜபம் செய்யாத எந்த ஜபமும், ஆராதனையும் பயனற்றது.



இந்த மந்திரத்தில் ஓம் என்ற பிரணவமும், பிறகு மூன்று வியாஹ்ருதிகளும் பிறகு மூன்று பாதங்களுள்ள காயத்ரி மந்திரமும் உள்ளது. இதை ஒரே மூச்சில் சொல்லாமல் ஓம் என்ற பிரணவத்திலும், இரண்டாவது வியாஹ்ருதிகளிலும், மூன்றாவது தத்ஸவிதுர்வரேண்யம் என்ற முதல் பாதத்திலும், நான்காவது பர்க்கோ தேவஸ்ய தீமஹி என்ற இரண்டாவது பாதத்திலும், ஐந்தாவது தியோ யோ ந; ப்ரசோதயாத் என்ற மூன்றாம் பாதத்திலும் நிறுத்திச் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.



மனம் ஒரு புறம் எதையோ நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்க வாய் மட்டும் இந்த மந்திரத்தை 1008 அல்லது 108 தடவை உச்சரித்தால் பலன் கிடையாது. முறையாக 27 தடவை முழு மன ஒருமைப்பாட்டுடன் கூறினால் மட்டுமே பலன் கிடைக்கும்.



காலையில் கிழக்கு முகமாகச் சூரியனைப் பார்த்து நின்று கொண்டு இரு கைகளையும் முகத்திற்கு எதிராகக் கூப்பிக் கொண்டும், மதியம் கிழக்கு முகமாக உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு கைகளை மார்புக்கு எதிரே கூப்பிக் கொண்டும், மாலையில் மேற்கு முகமாக அமர்ந்து கைகளை நாபிக்குச் சமமாக கூப்பிக் கொண்டும் ஜபம் செய்ய வேண்டும்.



தினமும் குறைந்தது 108 முறை ஜபிக்கவும். ஆபத்துக் காலத்தில் 28 அல்லது 10 தடவை ஜபிக்கவும். உடலும், உள்ளமும் தூய்மையான குழந்தைகளும், வயதான பெண்களும் காயத்ரி மந்திரத்தை ஜபிக்கலாம்.

ந -நம்முடைய

நமது புத்தியை இயங்கச் செய்யும் பரமாத்மாவை நாம் வணங்குவோம் என்பது சுருக்கமான பொருள். காயத்ரி மந்திரத்தின் சிறப்பை உலகுக்கு உணர்த்தியவர் பிரம்ம ரிஷி விஸ்வாமித்திரர்.

ஸ்வாமிக்கு அர்த்தம் என்ன?- Maha Periava

வைகுண்டத்தில் ஸ்வாமி இருக்கிறார், ஹ்ருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறார், கோயிலிலிருக்கிறார் - என்றெல்லாம் நமது பெரியோர்கள் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள். கோயிலில் இருக்கிறார் என்பதால் அங்கு நமஸ்காரம் செய்கிறோம்.



ஹ்ருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்பதால், சிவபூஜை செய்கிறவர்கள் முதலில் தங்கள் ஹ்ருதயத்தில் ஈச்வரனுக்கு உபசாரம் செய்துவிட்டு, அங்கிருந்து அவரை மூர்த்தியில் ஆவாஹனம் செய்து, பிறகு மூர்த்தி பூஜை செய்வது வழக்கம். வைகுண்டத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்பதுபோல் கைலாஸத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்றும், பெரியவர்கள் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள்.



வைகுண்டம் என்பது பரமபதம். தத் விஷ்ணோ; பரமம் பதம் என்று, வேதம் சொல்லியிருக்கிறது. யாராவது காலமாகி விட்டால் ‘பரமபதத்திற்கு ஏறிவிட்டார்’ என்று வைஷ்ணவர்கள் சொல்வார்கள். அதற்கு வைகுண்டத்துக்கு எழுந்தருளி விட்டார் என்று அர்த்தம். வைகுண்டத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லும் ஸ்வாமியைப் ‘புருஷோத்தமன்’ என்று சொல்வதுண்டு.



‘புருஷோத்தமன்’ என்ற வார்த்தைக்குப் ‘பெரும் ஆள்’ என்று அர்த்தம். ஆகையால் ‘பெருமாள்’ என்கிறார்கள். புருஷோத்தமன் என்ற சொல்லில் ‘உத்’ என்பதற்குப் ‘பெரியவர்’ என்பது அர்த்தம். ‘உத்தமர்’ என்றால் ‘மிகப் பெரியவர்’ என்பது பொருள்; புருஷ உத்தமன் அல்லது உத்தமபுருஷன் பெருமாள். வைஷ்ணவர்கள்தான் ஸ்வாமியைப் பெருமாள் என்கிறார்கள்.



மற்றவர்கள் ஸ்வாமி என்றே சொல்லுகிறார்கள்; ஸ்வாமி என்ற வார்த்தையில் ‘ஸ்வம்’ என்பதற்கு ‘ஸொத்து’ என்பது அர்த்தம், உடைமை என்று இலக்கணமாகச் சொல்லலாம். ஸ்வம் உடையவர் ஸ்வாமி. அதாவது ஸொத்தை உடையவர். ஸொத்து எது? நாம்தான். ‘என் ஸ்வாமி’ என்றால், ‘என்னை ஸொத்தாக உடையவர்’ என்று அர்த்தம்.

ஏழையோ, பணக்காரனோ எல்லார் குடும்பத்திலும் கல்யாணம் மாதிரியான சுபகாரியங்கள், சாவு மாதிரியான அசுப காரியங்கள் வருகின்றன. இவற்றுக்காக எவனும் கடன்படுகிற மாதிரி நாம் விட்டால் அது நமக்குப் பெரிய தோஷம். அவரவரும் தன்னாலானதை ஐந்தோ, பத்தோ ஏழைப்பட்ட பந்துக்களின் சுபாசுபகார்யங்களுக்கு உதவ வேண்டியது ஒரு பெரிய கடமை. இதை முன்காலங்களிலெல்லாம் ஸஹஜமாகச் செய்து வந்தார்கள். ‘பரோபகாரம்’ என்று யாரோ மூன்றாம் மனிதர்களுக்குச் செய்வதற்கு முன்னால், ‘பந்துத்வ’த்தோடு நம்முடைய ஏழைப்பட்ட உறவினர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்ய வேண்டும். இரண்டு தலைமுறைக்கு முந்தி இதைச் சொல்ல வேண்டிய அவச்யமே இருக்கவில்லை.





அப்போது கிழவர் பராமரிப்பு இல்லம், விதவை விடுதி என்றெல்லாம் வைக்க வேண்டிய அவச்யமே இல்லாதிருந்ததற்கு என்ன காரணம்? பந்துக்களே இவர்களைப் பராமரித்து வந்தது தான். அநேகமாக எல்லா வீடுகளிலும் ஒரு அத்தை, பாட்டி, மூன்று தலைமுறை விட்டு ஒரு மாமா, தாத்தா என்கிற மாதிரி கிழங்கள் இருக்கும்! தற்காலத்தில் ரொம்பவும் பணக்காரர்களும் கூட வெறும் ‘ஷோ’வாக பார்ட்டியும் ஃபீஸ்டும் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். அல்லது பேப்பரில் போடுகிற மாதிரி டொனேஷன் கொடுக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் பந்துத்வத்தோடு தங்கள் குடும்பத்திலேயே வசதி இல்லாதவர்களை ஸம்ரக்ஷிப்பது என்பது இப்போது அநேகமாகப் போயே போய்விட்டது.





அவிபக்த குடும்பமுறை (Joint family system)போனபின் அண்ணன், தம்பி என்பதே போய்விட்டது. முன்பெல்லாம் இப்படி ஜாயின்ட்- ஃபாமிலியாக இருக்கும்போது, தாயார், தகப்பனார், சிற்றப்பா பெரியப்பாமார்கள், அவர்களுடைய பத்னிகள், பிள்ளைகள், மாட்டுப்பெண்கள், பேரக்குழந்தைகள் என்று ஒரு வீட்டிலேயே 20, 25 பேர் இருப்பார்கள். இவ்வளவு பேர் இருக்கிறபோது, அநாதரவான தூர பந்துக்கள் நாலைந்து பேரைக்கூட வைத்துக்கொண்டு சோறு போடுவது ஒரு பாரமாகவே தெரியவில்லை. இப்போதோ அவனவனும் பெண்டாட்டியோடு கத்திரித்துக்கொண்டு தனிக்குடித்தனம் என்று போவதால் கூட ஒருத்தரை வைத்துக்கொள்வது என்றால்கூடச் சுமையாகத் தெரிகிறது. எத்தனையோ ஆயிரம், பதினாயிரம் வருஷங்களாக இருந்து வந்த ஏற்பாடுகள் இந்த இரண்டு, மூன்று தலைமுறைகளில் வீணாகப் போய், இங்கிலீஷ் ஃபாஷன் வந்ததில், உயர்ந்த தர்மங்கள் எல்லாம் நசித்துப் போய்விட்டன.
